Our blessed heroes

Cith

As a young boy, Cith discovered the forest giant ‘Jottie’ while looking for kindling in the forest, and they became fast friends. As an adult, Cith grew tired of his people fighting and their general disregard for the world around them, so he left to live in the forest and take up the mantle of forest guardian, the first of his kind.

Jottie

Jottie (pronounced ‘Yot-ee) is one of the last remaining forest giants. He is smaller in stature than most giants, but still large enough to be an imposing presence and formidable ally (if he can find his bravery). He is a guardian of the forest but likes to spend the majority of his time consuming huge quantities of moss and napping by woodland streams

Faye

Faye is a Wood Elf of The Forest Heartlands. Although many of her kind have departed The Isles to seek lands untouched by the troubling arrival of humans, Faye believes strongly in the preservation of The Isles and will be the first to walk into danger to preserve them. She is a champion of nature and a fiercely loyal friend to Cith and Jottie.

Old One Eye

A mysterious soothe sayer who’s inhabited The Isles for as long as anyone can remember, in his ‘Hall in the Marshes’.

Distinctly human in characteristics, but supernatural in longevity, One Eye hordes a wealth of knowledge, but is often miserly in his gifting of it. One Eye’s importance in the protection of The Isles and guidance of our heroes may at first appear minimal, but it should not be dismissed. He is often the narrator of our tale, and plays a crucial role within the balance of the world.

Pop

A creature of currently unknown origin, Pop’s appearance in The Isles is a recent one. She has the ability to manipulate the immediate atmosphere around here into localised weather sensations, an ability currently dictated and actioned by her mood.

The World

The Isles are a land of ancient forests, towering mountains and rolling hills - filled with secrets, perils and old magic.

The Forest Heartlands, The Greenwald and The Plains can all be found at the centre of The Isles. To the south, the mysterious, mist enshrouded lands of The Southern Isles. Separated by miles of barren earth and marshlands is ‘The Walds’ a dark and foreboding forest cut off from the biome of the mainland, said to house the dormant spirits of a terrible and ancient evil.

It is said that beyond the seas lies other ancient and diverse lands, with all manner of new creatures and worlds to be discovered.

Inhabitants of The Isles

The Isles is inhabited by a wide range of races, creatures and ‘abominations.' Abominations are the evil beings of this world, a grave error made by ‘The Mother’ and ‘The Father,' the great creators of The Isles.

‘The Pilot’ script

Sounds of The Isles

The sound of The Isles is incredibly important to us. As such we’ve already begun creating music based on scenes from the pilot so that audio experience of The Isles is developed with tantamount importance to the visuals.

Outside of animation

Telling the story of The Isles isn’t limited to animation. We’re working on a series of graphic novels, adventure board games and more...

Outside of the core storyline of the animation, we’re working on an entire world of ‘side quests’ and adventures that we can join our heroes on. You'll be able to read, watch, or even play!

If you’d like to find out more about the world of The Isles, or partner with us to tell it’s story, please get in touch
